Acorns Visit Tiverton Museum
The Acorns were transported back in time when they enjoyed a fantastic trip to Tiverton Museum.
Acorn class were well and truly transported back in time when they visited Tiverton Museum this week. We had great fun learning about how people in the past travelled from place to place. We found out that some school children may have travelled by steam train while other less fortunate children would have had to walk; sometimes many, many miles. We found the 'donkey cart' fascinating and the 'fire engine', which would have been pulled by horse. The children drew some great sketches of the different transport which we will continue to work on back at school. Acorns would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the PTFA for funding this trip for us.
