ICT & Computer Science
The KS3 Scheme of work provides engaging projects to help students develop and apply ICT skills. It provides creative lessons on programming and new technologies and develops skills through real-life scenarios that engage students in ICT.
GCSE Optional Qualification: AQA Computer Programming
As an option in year 10, students can take an additional GCSE in computer programming. Students will learn to develop systems, mobile phone apps and games using Visual Basic, SQL, App Inventor and Scratch.
The qualification is a full GCSE and will provide the student with a launch pad into a career in ICT.
