The nursery was opened by Nikki Phillips, Early Years and Childcare Service Lead, Devon County Council. This was followed by a tour of the nursery facility, cream tea in the parish hall and singing by East Worlington pupils.

To mark the occasion pupils made a giant pupil paperchain and wrote letters to the Royal Foundation - to which they are eagerly waiting a reply!
